Why would he treat me this way?

I met a guy last year (we're both 24) and we talked for about a month before we went on a first date. After that, he kept rescheduling our second date until I cut him off completely. He rescheduled three times and I was tired of it.

Fast forward, 6 months later, he comes back with a heartfelt apology and told me he wanted a second shot. He begged for this second chance. I decided to give it another shot. We went on two amazing dates. He was all over me (literally), kissing me all the time (and a bit more than that), holding my hand, wrapping his arm around me shoulder, kissing me cheek, complimenting me and all. He wanted us to spend the night together but I declined. He said it was fine.

Next thing I know, he stopped answering my texts after this second date. I wished him a Happy Birthday on Friday, he never bothered responding. I'm very upset, and hurt. I feel like a fool. I want to send him a "shame on you" email but I just don't have the strength to. I'm tired and I feel used.

Will he ever regret treating me like this? I was so stupid and naïve. I wonder how he'd feel like if someone were to ever treat his sister this way.

So, you've basically been on 2 dates?
There's no committed relationship, you hardly know him and it seems he's a jerk. This is what dating is supposed to reveal, now ya know so move on and forget it.
He likely will treat more people just as shabbily, just make sure it isn't you.
And it isn't good to embarrass yourself by telling him any garbage about how hurt you are...just move on and count yourself lucky. . Hugs!

Well, we went on three dates total, each lasted around 7 hours but yeah.

Welcome to the club, Lost. You'll be okay.

Definitely don't send any shame e-mails, they'll do no good and just make you look and feel like a lost puppy. He doesn't deserve communication, even tho you did.

The no reply stories are always so pathetic - for the person who's not replying. If someone really doesn't have the wherewithal to abide by basic human decency, I'm a lot more afraid for what their future holds than the people they treat badly. You'll get over it and move on, but that's who he is - terrible fate.

He may be between relationships, and hitting up past contacts. He was looking for easy sex, you said no, he moved on. Imagine if you had slept with him and he still ignored you? You've lost nothing, and communicating with him in any way will gain you nothing. Time to move on
