Thank you for posting and commenting on this. I am getting Paragaurd next month and had read so many bad reviews. But a friend of mine loves hers, so I was very confused.

After so many bad experiences with birth control pills, uncontrollable crying, depression (which I never suffered from before), anxiety, no sex drive, impossible to orgasm... Im praying Paragaurd will be just right for me.

Went for paraguard insertion today. It was painful!!!, felt extremely lightheaded and dizzy during insertion which was weird as I was totally not expecting it. Pain from insertion yes.. But didn't need to take in painkiller and all. Having a glass of water during procedure helped. But all in all, had only mild pain (period cramp) which lasted only 10 minutes after the procedure. I am 37 and had one child by C section 8 months ago ( didn't have labour pains , hence reason for that supreme discomfort).
