Is he just /that/ good at pulling out?

So my boyfriend and i have been having sex for almost three years now. we don't enjoy using condoms at all all because 1) he doesn't feel as much of "me" and hence doesn't enjoy the sex so much, and 2) i really don't like the feeling of latex. so we rely on the "pulling out" or "withdrawal" method literally every time we engage, as our form of birth control.

He and i are well aware of the risks that come with doing this. the thing is, we've been doing this for almost three years, had sex countless times, and i have never once been pregnant. so my question arises, is he just that good at pulling out? or might there be something wrong down there for me?

As great as it is that i haven't once become pregnant whilst not using condoms, my only concern is that i'm, perhaps, infertile. when the time comes when we decide to start a family, i'd love for it to be as easy as possible.

Any opinions or experiences would be well appreciated, i'd love to hear what anyone has to say.

Pulling out works ... until it doesn't :P

Personally, I've used pulling out as a birth control method during some periods of my life, all times when it would not have been detrimental to become pregnant "accidentally." I've never got pregnant doing it. However, when I started trying to conceive, I had absolutely zero problems and got pregnant immediately the same month I started (twice.)

So, maybe your boyfriend's sperm doesn't carry much genetic material. Maybe you are incidentally not fertile during the days when you're having sex. Or maybe there is something wrong - you can't really find out until you DO try to conceive and see what happens.

What Little says. All it takes is one time. I do know of someone who thought she was infertile--until she ended up pregnant.

I agree with you about condoms, but is there any reason why you aren't using the pill or some other form of female birth control? Having my fiance ejaculate inside me is very intimate and bonding, and it's extremely exciting for him on a purely physical level as well. Although we've never used pull-out, I've always felt that it cheats the couple of the most intimate and exciting moment of intercourse. But you would need to be on birth control if you wanted to risk that--it only takes once.
