    sugar waxing??

I don't know how but I came across something called sugar waxing recently. It's apperently less painful then regular waxing, and less damaging to your skin. Something I could definetly do at home rather then spend the money on waxing appointments. Has anyone tried this or heard anything, love to know your thoughts!

I haven't googled a homemade sugar wax, but know that there are commercial preparations that are "sugar wax" and "typical or conventional wax". Less painful, not really. Anything that rips hair out by the root is going to be painful. The benefit to using sugar wax versus conventional wax preparations is that sugar residue will easily wash off with warm soapy water, where as typical wax depilatories don't and needs to be removed with a lotion that is specifically made to remove the residue from the skin.
