    Low thyroid function can definitely be one of the factors contributing to hair loss, but it's always best to get a proper medical evaluation to determine the root cause. There are many other potential factors that can contribute to hair loss, such as hormonal imbalances, stress, nutrition, genetics, and certain medical conditions, so it's important to identify the underlying cause in order to determine the best course of action. If you're concerned about your hair loss, I would recommend considering hair transplant. Here's more info about it [link removed by mod]

      My hair started falling in my 30s due to regular illness and thyroid. I had to face many things about this. I consulted many experts and continued to take medicines, syrups, and oils from them. Nothing changed my hair fall was not stopping. I implemented traditional methods and many things. However, nothing changed.

      For a while, I thought maybe the water in my area is not good, after the lockdown, I changed my residence but to no avail. My sister told me about a telehealth platform. I consulted a doctor through Ongo Care Telehealth. The doctor gave me a prescription for this which reduced my hair fall. [attachment deleted by mod}

        If you're experiencing thinning hair, it could be due to various factors, including low thyroid function. It's advisable to consult a healthcare professional to determine the underlying cause and explore potential treatments. They can provide guidance tailored to your specific situation and address any concerns you may have about your hair health.

          hi!
          advise me what vitamins to take for hair loss and where is the best place to buy them?
          is it really true that hair loss is caused by thyroid problems?
          thanks?

            Thyroid issues are one possible cause of hair loss. Others include heredity, stress, diabetes, prolonged dehydration, or medications like DepoProvera. Until you know what’s causing it, it’s impossible to know how to address it.

                For me, the biggest thing is remembering to take my vitamin D supplements, and my thyroid medication, both of which will affect my (personal) hair loss. I've also started doing a weekly rosemary oil scalp/hair treatment that I think is actually working... I've got a lot of baby hairs near my upper temples where my hair tends to thin.

                  I've been doing some research on this and there are actually REAL things out there now that WORK, and some work synergistically together to make a 1+1=3.

                  2 therapies in particular that are on my radar are:

                  1 - laser treatments (you've maybe seen those baseball caps, or headgear you put on your head that uses red light therapy to stimulate hair growth)

                  2 - Monoxodil in different formulations (foam, etc)

                  When combined, these 2 together actually do a REALLY great job or regrowing hair and it has been shown in research studies to make a huge noticeable impact in density and regrowth.

                  They also seem the least invasive with the least amount of possible side effects (at least the laser treatment, monoxodil has its own set of potential issues).
