today i have a brown discharge , i had posted earler wih same problem ...
i have no pain and i am not sure if to go to doctor or not...
what is coming out is lile mucus with brown color..i am confused , worried i dind not do any thing to strain myself...

Brown discharge usually indicates blood, it can happen at the end of your period or a few days before and can happen on and off if you are on birth control just the same as the spotting can be pink or red. If you're not on birth control and you're not near your period at all it needs checking out.

Sarah, the OP is pregnant.
Please call your doctor soon. While a little bit of blood may not be harmful, they like to hear from pregnant women if they are showing signs of blood. I saw in one of your recent posts that you were 21 weeks, but I didn't check the date of the post ... if you are past 20 weeks, I don't think blood is a "threatened miscarriage" anymore, but I'm not sure. If you call your doctor's office they should be able to tell you whether to come in.

vaginal discharge during pregnancy(week 21)

hi all
in my last post i mentioned about vaginal discharge in brown color,with no pain..
i had been to my doctor, and she examined my vagina and cervix, doctor said that i have a cervix erosion, swollen cervix.. and this is because of hormonal changes that happen in our body during pregnancy
she collected the swab from vagina and has given for checking if there is a infection . in case of any infection i will be put on medicines ..
my baby is absolutely fine, and placenta is also good.
doctor has given me a vaginal wash to be on a hygeneic side.and i can continue doing exercise and all.
i want to tell women with similar case is that if it is a small discharge and all you may not worry, but still if there is excess of blood coming it is necessary to consult doctor.
