I think I may have Endometreosis

Hi yall, I am brand new here. I found this website through Google and looking through it so far, seems like a great site. Anywho, I do have a question that I am sure has been asked before but I'm going to ask it anyways.

Over the last couple of weeks after I have sex with my husband I get the most SEVERE cramping/pain in my uterus/pelvis (at least that's where it feels like it is). And when I say severe, I mean curled up in the fetal position almost unable to breathe because the pain is so severe. It also hurts in my lower back. The sex isn't really painful, unless he hits a certain "spot" when he goes too deep, and it never hurts afterwards unless he hits that "spot". I can lay down for 20-30 minutes afterwards with a heating pad and the pain becomes tolerable, but it's still a dull, constant ache. I am going to call my OB tomorrow, but I am just trying to see what opinions I may be able to get from you ladies first.

    Thanks in advance

I think I may have Endometreosis. I am awaiting diagnosis as of yet. I ofter get sharp pains during sex, but it subsides when we change position, until last week. After sex I started to feel a tearing pain in my lower abdomen, started shaking uncontrollably and felt sick. My partner called for an ambulance and they did tests in hospitol, but couldn't find anything. I saw my doctor and told her I thought it might be endo and she agreed and I have some tests booked for later this week. Anyway, my partner and I tried again last night and it was fine during sex, no pain, but a couple of minutes after, it started again, extreme pain, shaking all over and feeling sick. I took the co-codamol the hospital gave me and took a warm bath, for an hour, as I fell asleep in it due to the drowsy effect of the pain killers. I am going back to the doctors again today as I can't take those tablets in work as I have terrible fatigue issues, which I saw the doctor about 4 months ago, (went for fatigue, depression and anxiety). Have also been trying to get pregnant for 18 months without luck. Both myself and my partner have sons from previous relationships, so we know we can concieve, but have had nothing for 18 months now. Does this sound like endometriosis? And has anyone had luck getting pregnant with it?

This may sound weird, but do you clot when your on your period? It's one of the common signs they look for. It's most known for painful periods, so if you have that, it might be a yes. (But then again, many don't get all the symptoms)

Also, if you want to do a self check, (Not that it might help) but sometimes, you can see little dots on the inside. Almost like chicken pocks. They should be discolored from everything else...

Just because you may not be able to see it, doesn't mean you don't have it. Endo, can be anywhere, and just because you can't see it... You know.

Er, my doctor said I 'might' have endometrosis, but pretty much told be not to look forward to having kids. But you can get tested to see if your fertile, (Might want to get your partner checked as well)

      Hope this helped?
