Personally hun I would stop shaving and opt for waxing. This takes the hair out right from the root and its the stubble left behind that is causing the itching. The skin can also grow over the folicle and cause infection ubnless you exfoliate. Try getting a mans sensitive after shave balm to cool down on the itching and redness,it will also help moisturise.

Please do not put yourself through this anymore hun as it obviously isn't right for you. Bathe in some sensitive shower or bath gel and use a baby lotion and continually replenish to get the moisture back into your skin.

      I hope this helps

I agree with miss sunshine, it sounds like its the shaving that is making you dry and chapped. Waxing is painful when you begin but after a while it's not so bad, but it is so much better than waxing.
        But do remember to exfoliate.

          Exfoliate!

Exfoliating is the best thing that you can do for yourself.
I really like the Body Shop's line of moisturizing exfoliants (personal fav = mango, yum!!) as they are gentle and replenish your skin while eliminating ingrown hairs and dead skin cells. It is important to make sure that you also allow your skin time to heal inbetween hair removal. That is why waxing is a better option if you can do it..then you only have to do it once every three weeks or so, whereas shaving you need to do a couple times a week for most women.
Good luck, and also remember that hair does have its positives too...it increases sensitivity and provides protection so going "bald" isn't always the best route.
          Cheers.
