yeah! they're stopping! lol
After the huge hormonal issues and changes with the illness, I have 4 more months until I can officially say I'm in menopause. Thought I'd be happy about that...but somehow I am just not.
I suspect your changes are due to stress BD. Discuss it with your doc when you go in for your next exam, and if you aren't due soon, make an appointment and check things out.Comment

I'm due for my annual exam soon. What I'm experiencing so far is nothing so out of the ordinary that it's alarming. They are just slight changes I've noticed and have heard people say their periods changed in their thirties. I suppose because I'm on the "downhill" side of my reproductive years.

yep... they've stopped haha .......... although I never had heavy periods, mine were very light, lasted max 2 days and didn't have them every month.
I went through an early menopause so have been free of them for some years...... Hallelujah!! i say..... hated them.. sooo inconvenient!
I hope yours sort themselves out soonComment

This post is not that recent however I would like to know more of other members experiences here. I had my first period at a very young age and I suppose it is possible then to go into menopause early too - I wonder if its that linear.
My periods are getting painful like when I was a kid (before removing ovarian cysts). Is it normal to feel a sharp pain not only in our lower abdomen but also like it was in our anus/intestines? Sometimes this pain is even on times where I am not menstruating at all and it hurts even if I try to sit. I have to sit slowly.Comment

Age-related changes in menstrual periods are true. Every 21 to 35 days, menstrual flow may occur, lasting two to seven days. Long cycles are typical in the first few years after menstruation begins. But, as you get older, menstrual cycles usually get shorter and more regular. Health also notes that as people become older, their menstrual cycles will alter. A woman's cycle after puberty should be between 21 and 35 days, with her period lasting between 3 and 7 days. From your teenage years until your 40s or 50s, your menstrual cycle can alter. Menopause normally occurs at age 51, and your menstrual cycle may shift in your 50s.Comment
