I'm not sure I understand what you're asking bluntc0ncussi0n
Are you asking about that sort of intuitive sense, or instinct, that many women have? Maybe share some examples of this type of thing. -
I am asking a particular question about this sort of intuitive sense that many women have. I am trying to ask how often men have this ability.I'm not sure I understand what you're asking bluntc0ncussi0n

I don't know if anyone *really* knows the answer to that, but I think we can all share our experiences and opinions.
I think men have some sort of intuitive sense, but I think they either don't listen to it, don't recognize it for what it is or simply don't care to.
My dad had some sort of intuition. I think one of my brothers is actually very deeply intuitive and contemplative, though he really doesn't seem to acknowledge that. The man I'm dating has a pretty sharp sense but he experiences it very differently than what I consider to be my own women's intuition. He picks up on cues and body languages very well.
It could be that many men are simply not thinking deeply enough about events or people, or aren't sensitive to that "instinct" the way women tend to be. That's not at all meant as a slight to men, they just aren't keyed into that natural sense of theirs, generally speaking. I think a lot of our intuition comes from astute observation, and simply paying attention.
Curious, why do you ask?Comment

I only ask because I am transgender and often feel excluded from things that even gay men are allowed into, such as anything from a girl's night out to a fashion exhibition on live TV. I get left out of those things because I don't "act" as "gay" as men who are "really gay."I don't know if anyone **really** knows the answer to that, but I think we can all share our experiences and opinions.

Are any of these "really gay" men as intuitive as some people I've suggested are? I am quite intuitive as well, but as you have more politely insinuated, men are usually too busy having a stick up their rear end to care. I have friends in NYPD who are DTs with decades of experience. I also notice that detectives like these, as well as their partners, are very astute when it comes to these types of observations. Then again, it is a detective's job to verify whether someone is a suspect, perpetrator, or a simple victim. However, this level of awareness in a person may only be depended upon by a man just so he can pay the bills, and whenever it isn't required of him anymore he'll go back to being a regular guy with a regular stick up his ***. Pretty much!
So why do you ask? Because I hate everyone. I am a misanthrope. I am a man who hates men, and I am a man who hates women too. I don't know how to live with myself but maybe I need therapy.Comment

Edit: I don't mean that last paragraph literally. I'm just venting a little.

Well, I certainly sense your frustration. I'm sorry that you feel excluded so often and I'm curious if it's your own peer group that you feel excluded from, or if it's the community around you.
I don't think I've ever thought of intuition in terms of sexuality or sexual preference and identity. As we've discussed above, it may be less biological, and more a conditioned thing.
I'm curious the context in which you're relating intuition to sexuality and how you feel left out of things.
Yeah, if you've never been to therapy, ya probably could use a little mental tune-up. I went to a counselor for a long time, and worked through some things, and I still go occasionally, just the same as I see my physician as needed. Mental health is a work in progress, same as our physical body! I think that should be the routine, expected and healthy thing to do, so, if you've never talked to a professional mental health counselor, give it a try.
