    Period panties

What are your experiences with period panties like? How much do they actually absorb? Do they leak?I'm thinking of trying them for nights and days with heavier flow in order not to worry about leaking so much.

I'm interested as well. I bought a pair, but they were cheap, so I'm not sure they are a good example. My problem is where the blood tends to flow. Not to be graphic, but for whatever reason I find I need more coverage in the front and back, less in the middle. I'm constantly looking for "long" pads.
Anyway, the period panties I bought only had absorption in the middle. It didn't cover in the front and back, so although I used them, it was kind of a backup for tampons.
I wish I could remember the brand. Bought at Target by the feminine products so like I said, you get what you pay for. I want to try a better brand.
Oh, one thing I will say. They were pretty comfortable and super easy to wash. Ok, that's two things. Lol

Same, I need long pads, in my case the back likes to leak. But tbh my flow has gotten more intense lately and I'm looking for something more absorbent than a night pad.

      Cool that they're comfortable.

I ordered them and it was a positive surprise. I want to order a few more. I wouldn't recommend them for days of heavy flow, though.

The panties absorb as much as a couple of regular pads or about two larger pads, so they can last a whole day on a day with weaker flow and they work overnight also on a day with weaker flow. They don't leak, no worries. And I really like the material, there is cotton lining inside, which is *so comfortable* and much more breathable than a regular pad. And the inbuilt pad doesn't move around as much as a normal pad, which is a plus too, so they leak less. Tip: dry them on a heater, because they're very thick.

On a heavy day I found it impractical to change panties every couple of hours, so I used postpartum pads and didn't have to go to the toilet all the time at least. So if you're looking for a solution to manage heavy period, I'd go for the giant pads...
