What's up with him?
My boyfriend and I have been together for 5 months, I know that no relationship is perfect but we never had any major problems. It was easy for us to communicate and understand each other's needs. But in the las two weeks, he is been acting a little distant, we only talk on the phone when I call him and he stood me up twice this week. I really don't know what to do. I love him and he says he loves me too. Why is he acting this was? -
I agree with Sourpuss. Men don't want to be smothered, actually, there are also women who are like that - it's human nature. Just give him time, don't call or text him, just let him be. Enjoy yourself with your friends. I would also advise for you to not focus on him alone. Just hang out with people (of good character of course), and just be. 5 months is still a short time to really confine yourself unto one man, especially if he has not even hinted any commitment on his part - it's too early!
Don't wait around for him. Go out and get a life. Your life doesn't depend on him, does it?Comment

First off, to me it sounds as if he's a little un sure about the relationship now. Men will not talk to their partners when they are feeling like this.
Give him a little time to think to himself, and if he still wants the relationship to work then he will talk to you about how he had been feeling and I'm sure use will work things out then.
If not there's no real point getting yourself hung up about it. And remember the happy 5months you have shared together

Maybe something has happened in his life that he has not told you about. He might be going through a rough patch of some sorts.
Maybe try talking to him if he keeps this up? Communication is a big part of a relationship. Just let him know it's ok if he needs space, you just don't like being treated this way. He just has to talk to you.Comment

I agree with everything been told above...he may need some time alone, and space. and when he sees that from being attached to him and sending him messages everyday or so, you keep a certain distance, he will think about your relation and tell how he feels.
So let him free for a while, and he will give some explanation!Comment
