You've been dating your boyfriend for 7 months, so I'd assume your parents must have at least speculated that some kind of physical contact is going on between you two. Hence I find your father's reaction kind of over-the-top. Unless he didn't know about you two dating (because I can't comprehend that a father hasn't even considered the possibility of you two being sexually involved at any time those 7 months, unless it was specifically the blowjob that bothered him the most as a father).

I also don't see why your mother needs to be told specifically about the oral sex situation, she doesn't need to know any details.

Apart from that, I have nothing more to add. The other posters are right.

Your parents were 16 once... they know how it is, they really do. But its hard for a parent sometimes to look back and remember what it was like when its their child. You were their lil baby that would need your ouchie on your knee kissed, in their eyes you were in diapers 5 minutes ago... so no matter when you matured sexually , even if was after you turned 18 -- they'd still feel that loss of your innocence... but -- they will get over it.

Your mom may be dissapointed at first.. she may say things she doesn't even mean... give her time to digest the information before you take anything she has to say (her immediate reaction) to heart. She and your dad love you, and will continue to love you even though their baby girl is growing up -- maybe faster than they'd thought.

The statement you made about big plans for your future is one that you should repeat to your mother... let her know you are aware of the risks involved in becoming sexual and the reasons why you are not going to gamble your future on it.
Scars remind us of where we've been...they don't have to dictate where we're going.
