    Ex and Jealousy etc.

K so right now I'm living with my awesome boyfriend whom I love very much. Today I got a text from my ex saying he has a girlfriend with 3 kids and they are awesome etc. I am a preschool teacher and he said this girl wants to send her kids to my daycare. I told him that would be a bad idea. That was basically the end of it. The thing is, I suddenly got angry and wanted to say some pretty rude things about this chick who I don't even know... Its not like I want to be with him but I don't want him to be happy and stuff even though we ended things after 2 yrs on a fairly good terms... I dunno... Anyone else love who they are with and still feel twinges of jealousy about their ex when they find they are dating? Arrgh.

In a somewhat odd sense, I think I might understand. This morning, my daughter called me and asked for a ride to observe a daycare operation (she's studying to be an elementary teacher) and in the course of talking about why her mom had to borrow her car, she told me that her mom and her boyfriend used it to spend the weekend in NYC. For some odd reason, yeah I'm a bit jealous. Maybe it's because when we were married that thought would have never entered into her mind.

      Strange feeling isn't it haha

Yea I gotta say even I feel like that at times.....it seems stupid because you will never go back to them but I think a part of our bond stays with our previous partners and our subconscious mind remembers the feeling we had with them at one point......and our conscious mind associates that person with anger so *Fireworks*

Its all a part of life really, these things happen. I would think its a lot worse if kids are involved....
As long as we are secure in ourselves and our new relationship nothing else matters....including the past, which is what they are, History.

Smile, enjoy life and thank them for the experience. Oh and go home and snog the face of your new partner with appreciation
I am going to tell you what you don't want to hear!
Advice is what we ask for when we already know the answer but wish we didn't
