    need help on my girlfriend....

    Hi everyone,
i hope you girls and guys can help me with my problem...

So me and my girlfriend have been together for a year now. My problem is she gets mad all the time for the dumbest reasons. Like not replying to her texts on time even though only 5 minutes has passed. So last night we had an argument cause i fell asleep while texting with her. its because i had a headache and felt tired. After waking up about 20 mins later she's so mad at me that she started cursing me for not replying on time. I told her because i fell asleep then i said sorry for falling asleep. She then started going on a tirade that i dont love her and i dont care for her. I dont get it what does that have to do with me falling asleep. My problem is when she does it its fine with me all she says is sorry for falling asleep and i said its fine cause it happens. Why cant she do the same thing? Why does she have to escalate the situation and get into a big argument with me? I really love her so much but sometimes her reasons to get mad and go all crazy on me is driving me nuts. What should i do? Pls help me...

sorry for my bad english.. its not my first language.

A strong headed, slightly "Mother" type girlfriend

Take charge.. When she cusses... Send a smiley face and say " You woke me from my dream about you".. Love you, talk in the morning, I'm sleep walking.

I know what is good for the goose is not good for the gander.. But, she sounds as if she expects but can't give you the same courtesy when she does the same thing.

Where there you can say " sleeping beauty doesn't need her sleep but sheez, return to sender no reply , sleep well princess"

Another words ,make a joke, give her love, don't bite back, she seems to rule the roost with you two but on the same accord don't take shirt.

Double standards are a good indication that a person is unreasonable.

I have plenty of experience of women with a mentality similar to your GF, it sounds like she is young, insecure and a bit wild. My guess is that you're dealing with a girl who gets off on emotional stimuli and would prefer to react irrationally and emotionally than sit down and converse like a mature adult.

A good start would be, like CW says, being a bit more assertive and letting her know that 'no' means 'no' and she can't just harass you like this and demand instantaneous responses from you whenever it suits her. The problem you face is that in the short term, the easiest way to deal with this type of woman is to just give in to her and let her have her own way so you can avoid drama, a headache, and any possible carnage which may ensue if she decides to start an argument. The insidious effect from this is that - in the long term - a woman will not, and cannot respect you if she knows you wont stand up to her.

If I were you I'd sit her down and firmly tell her that she's being unreasonable and needs to take a chill pill, and that you refuse to be lambasted and given a headache for not replying to texts straight away. Tell her if that's how things need to be then she can start by leading by example and proving her love by answering all of your calls within 2 rings and returning all texts within 30 seconds, until then she needs to relax or the two of you will need to have a serious talk.

In short you need to get a bit Christian Grey on her and show her who the boss is ;-)
