    Meeting a stranger in person

Hello again, I've been going through so much the past long while ; I haven't had time to actually sit down to collect my thoughts. I've been quite busy the past while trying to help out the family with all their troubles havent had time for me. Either then the internet is the only place that I can socialize to call my own. After the last drama I endured I totally ignored the thought of dating or seeing someone? But I'm not sure if this is called fate? or curiousity of an urge? Not long ago I stumbled across someone on another socialing site? He isnt the greatest looking guy or sound like such a great catch? But something about him makes it click with me. I'm tempted to travel to his town to meet him? Though a small part of me kinds of question everything because of the bad luck I have. Even in person? I either meet losers? or get approached by men who say they arent attached? BUT end up being married or have girlfriends who are pregnant. ( NO, I'VE NEVER stump low enough to stick around with those ones. I tend to always have to run for my life !! )

The question I have is people never are quite whom they pretend to be. Is there any signs I need to look for? I know for a fact to not to put too much hope into strangers from a far. Even strangers close by never are 100 percent their real selves. Is there a certain place not to go too?

Sorry for the strange question. My brain isnt too focus right now. Im just hopeing for some word of advice. thank u all

I dated my boyfriend for a year before we met. I was sure of who he was and everything. If this guy makes himself sound too good to be true then he is lying/ faking. Try skyping with him? That will allow you to see what he actually looks like and how he somewhat acts like. If he is hesitant about wanting to do that dont jump to the conclusion that he is fake. He might just be really insecure and he doesnt want to lose you once you see what he is actually like.
If he does something suspicious and youre not sure what its all about, just ask. And you'll start to know whether hes shady or real. You really just have to go with your gut on all of this.
When it comes to meeting one last thing you can do is ask him to send some sort of ID. That's what i did to let my family know who i was going to meet just incase i didnt come back when i was supposed to.
I hope if you meet him all goes well, and try to keep a positive mind! If youre unsure, dont do it!

Sorry to be blunt, but a MAN who is seriously interested in a woman will be the one to travel for a meeting. If he can't bother to do that, he isn't that interested. A woman who puts herself at risk (and expense) to pursue a stranger is not thinking very clearly and broadcasts the message "I'm desperate." As you've said, you have had some bad luck. Given that, it is wise of you to seek some outside advice. Do you have a friend or family member you trust who could help you make better decisions about men. Fate, curiosity, urges and clicks are going to get you into trouble.

Pollen , Thank you for your kindness. Blunt is better then lies. He has a crazy schedule so he claims lol. I'm not too close with my family members thats why I'm on here. I have the type of family that tends to tell me i'm not good enough for anyone. If I brought home a doctor? They'd tell me that he only wants to use me as a science experiment. If i brought home a good looking guy? My dad would be the one telling me that why would that hot guy want anything to do with you. Murdering a man on purpose is Man 1. Squishing a man in bed? Is still manslaughter. I'm in a bit of debt thats why i have to suck it up with these ppl i have to call family. Kati119 , Thank you also! I've actually skyped with the guy he seems exhausted all the time. Always has his 8 yr old dog around him. Too good to be true? I wouldnt say. But something about him makes me kind of curious of wanting to meet. I have to go to a family thing in the town next to his town also during this christmas hoilday. I'm still debating if i want to sneek out for a coffee with him or not. But i dont want trouble thats the thing. Thus, i'm somewhat hesitant because i know nothing about him.. I guess i should wait a bit longer before i meet. i shouldnt rush things. Thank you both kindly...

You can meet at a public place, with the understanding that no matter how well you hit it off, that is all for this trip. Then see how you feel.
