    Am I the problem?

Helloo! I'm new to this forum and this is my first post.

I've been with my boyfriend for 9 months and it's been filled with highs and lows. However, I feel as if we've hit rock bottom. It was amazing at first, we'd go out on dates almost every weekend, he'd come visit at my house. During the 4th month I introduced him to my mom. But it's been so long that I've felt as if I'm not part of his life. I haven't met his mom nor has he mentioned introducing her. I tell him what I'm up to during the day and he doesn't. He hangs around and don't even tell me, and I find out about his whereabouts through some friends. He goes clubbing and doesnt ask me to go with him. I'm his girlfriend and I think I deserve to be treated better. We argue a lot because of this. Then I feel guilty for nagging and complaining about stuff all the time... Am I the problem? How can I fix this? I do love and respect him.

Some relationships work, some don't and if you aren't happy you should find someone who makes you happy. The fact that he is spending a lot of time without you suggests that he isn't happy, and you've already said that you are not. My feeling is that trying to place blame is pointless - no one is keeping score.

Its fine to talk with him and try to understand what is going on, but don't worry about who is at fault, just what will make you happy in the future. Never feel like there is only one person for you - there are lots and lots of wonderful people out there.

Relationships are a two way street, efforts have to be made by both sides for each to feel about it.

As soon as a two becomes a one way, someone is going to feel slighted.

He's apparently gotten pretty compfrotable in the relationship with you pretty fast by assuming that it will continue regardless of how in or out of touch he is...big mistake.

If I woke up in your shoes, I drop him before you get too much more involved.

Cut your losses and find someone who will remain attentive, focused and affectionate.
