    I need help

Ok so i broke up with my ex partner of 5 years on decemeber 1st 2012,
I met someone else on decemeber 22nd (im still with him) I had to live with my ex partner as i had no where else to go i moved out last week into a flat provided by a homeless organisation. Its horrible and costs to much so i dont want to live there and want to give it up. My new partner wants me to move in with him and his family he's only 22. im 24 my ex was 50. Im scared to give my flat up incase i become homeless again and me and my new partner dont work, to make everything worse i have no family to talk to as they all side with my ex partner and ditched me when we split up.

my biggest problem is i cant trust anyone or i feel i cant. Im scared everyday and the 2 month ive been with my new partner has been the longest 2 month of my life. Hes the nicest person ive ever met but i just cant let myself open up or enjoy my life xx

"i know this is all confusing i tried to write it in as fewer words as possible"

please give me advice on how to forget about the past and be happy xx

I think you should bite the bullet and sit in your own flat for a while. You haven't been on your own long enough for you to make monumental decisions. Why not learn to live with yourself, pay your bills, get a job and then move out of the subsidized housing and into one of your own choosing? What could it hurt?
That which we forget may as well never really happened.

Agree with Claret, learn to love life again and yourself one step at a time.

If you move in with him, you"ll feel dependant and that will only make things worst.
Better to rough it out a bit longer and in the end knowing you made it through by yourself.
That will surely restore your confidence and faith in yourself and at the same time, your faith in others.

You're worth the effort and you'll be glad of the result in the long run.

Go with it and let us know how things are going.

      Be happy!

You are in Derby, I'm in Nottingham, just move in with me

Kidding of course. I think my fiancee (who is a Derby girl) would put up some resistance. I used to have 3 lodgers when me and her first got together, but we've become used to our own house by now.

I'm slightly cooncerned that you said that your new guy is 'only' 22. That suggests to me that you feel far more mature (even though you are 'only' 2 years older) than he, which doesn't surprise me given the age of your previous fella.

I agree with the two posters before me. You need to live your life by your own rules for a while to truly find out what you want (and need and deserve) out of life.

Personally I think it is unhealthy to go straight from one long term relationship into another, but then I've always been independant.

        Good luck!

        Alex
