    Hurt...

Today, my boyfriend of 5 years told me he loves another woman..

I don't even know to say! I'm so hurt and mad at all the same time. It's so hard to wrap my head around! It's so many details, but I would be here all night and you all do not have time to read all that... I just don't know what to do how to act or even what to say..

Time is the best medicine. Take it one day and go through the motions of letting go (like being sad and mad). One day someone better will come along and you will realize this ex did you a huge favor.

    Good luck!

      Welcome to the Forum.

It is never, ever easy spending so much time with someone and feeling as if that person is the person we are going to spend the rest of our life with.

But two people (souls) that join as one can't be broken. There is too much love and too much values, friendship.

Sometimes we spend so long with the wrong person. Comfort? Used to it? It's ok? Great friend?

Take time out to really reflect if this person was your all, made you happy, did little tings for you for no reason, if your sexual life was loving, and good, intimate and bonded.

Sometimes, when we reflect, after the pain and anger is gone, we realise that really, we are better than what we had and deserve better and in that knowing, can move on and find it, as well as be happier in ourselves, as we only have to account for ourselves.

Ask yourself. Before you met, what were your dreams goals are you living them? Or did they take a back seat.

It hurts. But, if he knew what love was, you would have seen it all the way through those 5 years. If he thinks he loves another more than likely that will pass and fade as well...

True love is real and you will find it as you deserve to .

Sorry for your hurt for now.
