But, she fell asleep, woke up and said "sorry"....And, it was 1am......

Like I said if something eventuates you have to understand her schedules, tiredness, good for her to study and work, I assume at a bar, restaurant ... It's tiresome.

She was tired sweet, no one says sorry at 1am they wait until the morning.

Don't push things, she needs someone who understands and backs off but is there.

Are you in Australia? Just I am the only one answering Because everyone else is asleep....

No no.. she texted me right away after work. Then she got home and I assume she was laying in her bed and through it she passed out for a bit. Then woke up and probably realized she left me hanging without saying bye. So she said sorry I fell asleep.

I'm actually looking for some girl who IS busy. My ex was super needy and I was suffocated by her, so I rather have someone who is busy. However, I don't want someone who is so busy that she can't even spend a few hours once every week or every other week. I'm also a very busy person too, so I know how she feels with life.

The difference is I manage my time very well and I FORCE myself to have some fun. I spent my life like hers jsut working and on school for so many years, actually around her age. And I regret it, because I never got to have fun. I feel like I am living my life now finally after 5-6 years of toughness.

I don't know where she works yet, I will hopefully find out tmrw when I ask her about her day at work.

hmm do you think it was pushy of me to tell her I would call her tmrw? I just feel I might be able to reach out to her better on the phone. Plus I want her to feel comfortable with me on the phone too. I kinda feel she might feel shy or something, and I want to break that uncomfortable feeling. I gotta admit, I'm mostly scared, shy and nervous of calling people I don't know very well. But I don't know, I really care about her and something makes me want to get closer to her. I don't mean it in a I wanna sleep with her way at all, but rather I wanna help her get out of this rut and enjoy life.

Funny thing is I don't believe in horoscopes, but she's the same sign as me and I have 2 friends that are girls and are the same sign too. I found both of those girls are the same way, they are SUPER busy and barley spend time with their boyfriends at first. School and life seems to take a lot of their time, but they both still have very good relationships with their guys. I assume guys like it, because the girl doesn't get all needy and gives the guy his space.

So this girl I like seems the same way. It's something I am okay with, but I do want her to spend some time out to have some fun. I thought the day we met she seemed to have a lot of fun. Since then, which was a week ago she has been super busy with stuff and sounds down. So I just wanna help and hopefully we part of her life in some form. I guess I don't know what is considered being to pushy?

I'm assuming since she gave me her number, there must be some thought from her side? I mean if she is to busy why would she give me her number? Or do you think she is looking for a guy just to give her some positive support only?

I'm in Canada I still have yet to travel and visit Aussie! I have a few friends there too

Ah Canadian ;P We hope to go there next year.

Honestly, honestly, honestly, YES she gave you her number but that's not a ticket for a date.

You and her have a lot in common and she picked that up.

I kind off seem to get bits and pieces of thoughts here the more you talk. ie) The more that happens .

She obviously and definitely needs people that get her.

        You do.

This could be a great relationship.

If I was you? I'd go back to what she said to you, when she gave you her number and make her wonder if you like her as well, rather being there and enjoying and wanting to talk to her, all girls still like romance and a chase not I WILL I WILL you know what I mean?

Keep making the type of text things I have offered as it's funny or/and has a double meaning but she will think you must be keen as you are conversing with her, see how she can be as confused as you are now?

What I think if I was her. She wants someone but thinks she can't due to work and study.

        You've been there.

If you can just make her think? Show some interest but then not sure? Use friendship as well with "been there" so she can see similarities and understanding?

You have a good chance .

But we / I can't give it all to you because each girl is different, we/I can give you the thought pattern and let you ponder on that and work with it

Hope you get to Aussie Land, it's pretty cool.

Yeah you should def visit for the summer here, I think you'll like it a lot. I made a new friend from New Zealand today and he loves Canada so far

As for my day, well I called the girl roughly when I'd normally text her in the later evening. So she didn't pickup and it went to voice mail. I left no message, so I'm guessing it will show her a missed call from me.

I guess what is annoying is that I did tell her I would call in the evening. So I expected she would at least keep her phone on herself, or maybe she just ignored my call.

So I don't really know what the next step is. I kinda feel like I don't want to contact her now and let her reach out to me.

I assume if she REALLY is interested, she will see my missed call and call me back or text me at some point. I guess I don't want to waste anymore time, if she isn't going to even talk on the phone.

Personally, I thought talking via phone would be better, as our text msg become large and it would be easier to talk than type all these long text messages.

Anyway, I guess I just feel disappointed but hey it is what it is I suppose.

If she calls me back, I'll go on with it otherwise I'm not sure... I mean it felt kinda rude since I did say I would call the next day.

Otherwise, I don't want to seem pushy to her. So far it feels like I'm doing all the work initiating and I don't think she has ever besides asking for my number.

            Ok...

I get this feeling that she actually saw something in common and gave you her number in that regard.

She is a nice lady and has replied as such.

Let her call you from here.

I think that personally you see her as someone who works so hard what you want but you don't know her, the inner her and how can you.

But your reactions are based on what you want instead of what she is.

            You've done the right moves.

Let her go and wait to see if she contacts you, after you don't contact her...

Yeah it's possible she saw stuff in common. She is started university soon, and I'm probably half way in my studies.

So I guess for her it might be that she doesn't have any experience and knows I've already been there and experienced it.

She is definitely nice and sweet, I mean here is a funny story.

The day I met her, she was sitting next to me for most of the night, it's kind of how the seating was arranged.

So she went to the washroom and the rest of the group there was chatting it up.

Later this guy had moved to a seat across me to make convo, as we were all trying to meet new people and make new friends. So he says "hey.. ahh where did your girlfriend go?".

I sat there thinking is this guy drunk.. I don't have a girl friend, so I said "what girl friend?".

And he said, "the girl that was sitting next to you". And by then the girl had moved to a new seat, because the seats near me were packed with people. So she didn't have much of a way to get back in and sat across to my left on the other side. I then told the guy you mean that girl and he said yeah. I told him we weren't going out and he kept apologizing over and over again hahah.

But I mean it must have shown that her and I were comfortable then? Especially if someone was thinking we were together. In fact I saw another guy get jealous, and the funny thing is I wasn't even trying. He was trying hard to flirt with these girls. I kinda just was myself and didn't try.

I think I might wait till next weekend and see if she contacts me. I have a gut feeling she won't contact me back, but it is what it is I suppose.

                Don't over analyse things

That is a funny story.. Body language is the best I reckon, you usually can tell a lot by body language you both must have been comfortable

I don't know the answer and clearly no one else does either as no one else is posting on here though they might now as you've bought it up in their time, they are no longer sleeping

                It is either /either ....

Either, she exchanged because you both had a lot in common but that is all she meant it to be not a green light.

Or, she exchanged because she found you interesting and wondered...

Either way, she is very busy, study, work... and like I said, I assume that being that way she knows she can't get too close to someone or else they will take up a lot of her time, time she doesn't have as she has goals, dreams and so, keeps cutting it short.

Just be yourself, don't drown her

Yeah I kinda feel like maybe I shouldn't have asked or gone the phone route. I guess if I stuck with the texting at least I would've gotten some chat going on.
I guess I was trying to do something different this time, as usually I am not very aggressive when pursing someone I like... I guess you can consider me to be a typical "nice guy", who may feel something for someone, but would never dare ask her out or say anything and rather just stare and wonder. So I thought, if I took more of a lead and considering she is a lot younger than me. I thought getting her on the phone would make things more comfortable for her and in the past women usually ASK ME if I can talk on the phone. I guess I normally do not initiate anything.

But I guess I can't change that now. Which is why I'll look at next weekend and see if she contacts me by then. If not.. "maybe" depending on how I feel I might just pop in a text asking how she is and how stuff is going with her exams. I do know she had another exam possibly this week. So she will be busy and stressed once again.

She did say she feels drained, because she gets tired easily with her crazy schedule and she's being pushed to work and get school stuff done 7 days a week. In fact she mentioned she has no time to go out or have fun these days, because of how her life is right now.

For now, I'm going to keep myself busy with my own activities and just let it go for a bit. See if anything comes of it or not.

Well I just wanted to say I think it's all over at this point.

Been almost a week and no response. So I thought I'd just see what's up and sent a text.

No reply, so I suppose at this point it's over for sure.

I do get an odd feeling she might have a boyfriend maybe. Every time I wanted to call her she would make an excuse, but texting seemed fine.

I guess it sucks, because I thought we really hit it off and got along well.

In a long time I actually was physically attracted to someone, but at the same time I was also attracted to her personality. I always find, that when I'm talking to a girl one of those things lack. Either she's good looking, but her personaity is just not my type at all, or she has an awesome personality, but I'm not physically attracted to her.

I guess it's a hit to the ego, to get along with someone so well only for it to end like we are strangers once again.

Hate to say it, but these are the times I wish no girl gave me her number, and I wouldn't ask either. Makes life easier knowing someone isn't interested in you from the start....
