Long-term boyfriends talks to one person too much...
My boyfriend of over threee years recently started talking to his "friend" a little too much when we were having relationship problems. He said the reason why is because of our fights and I can understand that. He's been friends with her for over 8 years and says he liked her before like 5 years ago. They always talked online often, but not on the phone. He said that when he started talking to her again, he felt the happy like when he liked her before, he says it's nothing, now. I'm really don't understand this whole situation. I feel like a fool, but it might only be his friend like he says. He does call her behind my back, because he knows I don't like her. She knows I'm his girlfriend. And I'm not sure if I'm making a problem out of nothing....the counselor said that I should not be snooping and I would not find any reason to start a fight. I'm confused and I don't want to push him out the door, but do I let this continue. We've never faced something like this before. He does have a lot of girlfriends, but only that. Should I call her myself? HELP ME!

I think that your Councellor is correct.
Snooping = Non-Trust = No More Relationship.
And calling her? What for?
He commenced the conversations...
I think that you should understand that people have "friends" in life, male or female and there is no room for jealousy in a relationship and non-trust, because you simply push that relationship eventually out the door and into someone's arms, maybe even hers.
Try instead to quit the fighting and work on the relationship and he won't feel that he has to laugh with someone else...
If your relationship isn't strong enough there is absolutely nothing at all you can do, he will eventually leave...
Build your relationship instead of worrying who else is in it in a platonic way.

Hey,
I see why you are concerned and your feelings are probably a lil hurt. You guys are fighting and he is opening up to another woman. Its natural your jealousy buttons are being pushed.
You have guy friends that you talk to right? Its no different than you sharing personal things with those guys.
If your relationships is strong you will get thru this. If you fear abdonment maybe thats just the fear you must face
good luck and keep talkingComment
