I put my bf in jail..again!

So this Nov. 12 is the third year of dating on/off with Mark. The first year I was with him he impregnated a girl who's lovehandles were so large it looked like the top of a muffin over her tight pants. I came to his apartment and found a note telling me he was running away with her. she ended up miscarrying so he showed up four 1/2 months later. I took him back. We broke up again and he started dating another girl. I stole him from her, beginning a two year battle between me and her. Recently I woke up, quit my job and packed my bags. Two days later I was hundreds of miles away.

I went home and met with him. Yet I kept my distance. And finally he grabbed me and threw me on the couch and tried kissing me etc. I didn't want to so I shoved him off and he hit his head on the side table. We started yelling and fighting- the cops showed up on a domestic violence complaint so Mark went to jail (warrants). JAIL. Last time we were finally steady- both had good jobs, laid off the coke and were getting a nice apartment. He went to jail and right before he was out I got incarcerated. I sent him a few messages thru inmate express and everything was okay but when I got out he was living with her again.

Now I know he's an . However, when he touches me I feel something. I blush every time he looks at me. He's the only one I've ever loved. And he NEVER uses that word...except for the first time in three years he did. I cannot explain what it was like trying to act normal when my entire body was buzzing. My question is, should I stay or should I go? Because despite all that terrible stuff I truly love this man but I'm just not sure what to do.

What type of life do you want? What do you dream of acheiving? a stable family, great career, world traveller, volunteer work? What would make you excited to get up each day and live life?

If this relationship is draining then go. IF you guys can live in harmony then build on it.

Does this man make your heart sing and bring a smile to your face or does he cause you great heart ache?

Writing that post yesterday made me see that the last three years of my life I have seen much more pain than happiness with Mark, though I wouldn't take it back for a second. I'm one of those people that believes everything happens for a reason. If we were meant to be together he wouldn't be in jail again and I wouldn't be hundreds of miles away. Honestly if what we have is love, then I don't want it.

well every relationship has its challenges that have to be worked thru. Every woman and man deserves to have a mate in their life that makes them smile and their heart sing. Even in the bad times there can still be a lil sunshine.

What you described sounded like heartache so i hope you find your slice of happiness. YOu are worth it and deserve it.

        xx

thank you- you know I didn't realize how terribly long that first post was so thanks also for reading that. It just took me writing all of it down to see just how bad things really were. When he gets out of jail and tries to "baby take me back" me I'm going to give him SOME KINDA COLD SHOULDER! lol and furthermore last night I had sex with someone else and it felt amazing. I'm finally free- dangit.
