I believe that you can. But, you could loose one if one found out. Best to play it safe and choose one.

OK, you can't have them both, and stringing both along might make them both dislike you.

I don't know how old you are, whether you are looking at a relationship for the rest of your life. If you are fairly young, realize that most likely you will not be with either of them forever - that is OK, you can both have a very nice time meanwhile.

If you are thinking about something forever - then think. Why do you love each, and is it real? Do they both treat you well? Is there some deep reason for you love, not just that they are cute?

But it is a very very tough problem - but I think making a decision and sticking with it is best.

Ok, i guess I'm going to be the odd man out here but NO, I don't believe you can. I guess that has to do with ones definition of what Love is and how you define it. I lean towards what rcoreyus says, some of his definitions so to speak. It may be just liking, or enjoying instead of Love!

Whatever it is go slow, be careful,
              Good Luck to ya!

Well I'm feeling contrary this morning so I'll take the other side. First you didn't give much info, how old you are, how experienced in life and relationships and are you sexually involved with either of both? Those are big factors. Most likely you are ambivalent because you aren't ready to choose. So don't. Just don't play head games with them. Be honest. I like but I'm not ready to commit to a relationship. There is no reason you can't date more than one man. While some people do it, I'd advise against sleeping with either of them at this point.

What's the purpose of dating? Getting to know people, what they are really about. That can take some time. Give it time.

Now the contrary part. Some people do love more than one person and do it successfully. It's called polyamoury. I saw an earlier post on one of the threads here where someone misunderstood it badly. Polyamoury is not a threesome or foursome. It's more than two adults in a committed relationship. It isn't polygamy or polyandry, where you have one gender married to multiples of the other gender and in control. While it comes in a variety of forms, generally it's about a pretty equitable relationship. Robert Heinlein's books often have polyamourous situations. (The BDSM version of this type relationship is another thing, I can't address that). I've known people who live polyamously and seems to handle it fine, it's not for the emotionally immature.

                  Good morning contrary one

I understand what you are saying and know a little about it but I still don't call it Love.

The only time I feel it's possible is when one maybe becomes a widow or widower. Or maybe in my case where I feel I will always love my to be exwife but can love to the fullest my hope so relationship some day.

To me when love is divided it's not in the full stage of pure love, bottom line. Love is a unit, like a small version of a Nation. A Nation divided against itself shall fall!
Sure there those people you spoke of but I would like to get into the minds of those and see how they really feel. talking of both sides of the story.

One cannot devote their full attention to both, it's impossible, my opinion of course, that's all.

I don't know that I could live that lifestyle but the way I see it is, can you love both your parents and your siblings? More than one child? Several freinds? Guess it's a matter of degree. People are different. I have no desire to be sexually involved with another woman but I don't deny that other's have that desire and find love and fullfillment in a same sex relationship.
