Sadly, I think people just "settle" in bad relationships. They don't have the will or confidence to do it on their own. They don't like the idea of being alone so they just settle for what they have, even if it is bad. A girl I know is in a bad relationship where her husband fools around on her, she has caught him at least once, and I know when given the opportunity, he would do it again....and she knows it too. Now, you would think a girl like this would keep her options open to possibly leave and go about it on her own, but instead, she was given a package at work where she had a very good position, and has now been at home for the last 4.5 years doing nothing. I guess what I'm saying in this situation is, she has pretty much locked herself into the relationship without options. She is also Catholic, which also plays a part in alot of these situations. I also know situations with my friends parents where as one lives upstairs and the other lives downstairs. I guess it cuts down on having your own expenses.
I guess if it works for them....then all the best to ya!Comment
