    The way he says it...

They way he first said it: I love you (or in response: "i love you too")
and it stayed that way for a while

now he's rare to say it first, and responds, "love you too"

today i just got a "you too"

i've always said "i love you"

does his response indicate lack of interest? is this a warning for future heartbreak? or is he simply having a hard time in his personal life? help?!?!

We are such fickle creatures seriously.

On one hand, we so want to hear our other half say " I love you", but on the other hand, if he was to say it all the time, before you, you would feel that he was a tad, "not tough enough, man enough, weak".

And, then as it becomes a pattern, expected, they shorten it and then all of a sudden, we are like, WT? And panic steps in.

    Well, that's your version right?

Mine, is don't feel in-secure, guys don't express as much as women do that's a fact.

And, it shouldn't be expected back, nice but not expected..

When he says it first every now and then, it's way special and if he doesn't say it at all for a bit? Doesn't matter, because you should know in your heart that your loved, simple..

In-securities will always bite you in the bum.

    Don't stress over it.

my gorgeous wonderful man NEVER says i love you. unless i say do you love me? i think it shows he does in the way he acts, i think maybe men like to show it rather than say it, if you know what i mean!

More than the words he chooses, look at what he does. Some men just don't verbalize how much they care very easily and instead show it with actions. Warming up your car for you in the morning on a cold day, rubbing your shoulders when you say you've had a rough day - etc.

I wouldn't put any worry in the way he delivers the I love you, as long as you can feel the I love you in other ways.

Just to add my boyfriend has never said "I love you" all 3 words tied together like that, but I have felt in my heart more loved and cared about than I ever have, even more than when I was with someone that said the words all the time.
