    Trouble in paradise!

I am seeing a wonderful man. we get along so well, and i guess we are a real meeting of minds. As i am divorcing an abusive alcoholic i was wary, when we first met, but things are pretty much perfect. He gives me love and support, even takes my daughter fishing and that sort of thing.

However three months ago, he lost his job, due to the mining industry cutbacks, there is no more work in this area, so it is looking more and more likely that he will have to move elsewhere, its not as if i can go with him, as i have to really stay in this house until my divorce is finalised. so it looks as if we will part. He is reluctant to go and has in fact not left already because of me. it breaks my heart, what can i do, how can i make it easier for both of us?

That's tough, I'm seeing my Divorce lawyer tomorrow.

Where is he thinking of going to Cooper Pedy?

Can he do other things, construction, for instance?

I would speak to your lawyer and ask, if you didn't persay move out of the marital home but rented it, still assuming all mail at that address, would it be classified as leaving the home?

If so and it causes issues, then your love is strong, maybe he can not up-root rather, find work say at Cooper Pedy, stay in caravans, but leave his things with you, usually their jobs are very well paid and only for 3 - 4 months. Is this an option?

its not just the thing with the divorce, but also my daughter is still a bit fragile, after the problems with my ex. i wouldnt really be able to traipse her around the country. he is talking about working away but coming back when he can, but i am concerned our strong bond might break, i know he loves me, but i have baggage, maybe i am just concerned he will forget me? writing it down made me realise that maybe the actual problem is my insecurity. i sometimes think our relationship is too good to be true!

You are not in-secure, however, your ex made you feel worthless and so you panic.

Let's face it, if he does this all he is doing is WORKING... Your worry about you two is natural and the love for you is stopping him, but at the same time, it is what needs to happen for now...

You know this is real, simple and what you had before was not..

You will be perfectly fine, he is real happy ending, real, very... and you have nothing to fear...
