boyfriend cheated
My boyfriend and i have been dating for 5 years and we have 2 girls together but we have a problem...When my first daughter was about 3 months in feb. 2006 my boyfriend had got into contact with his ex and he ended up leaving me. About 6 months later he begged and pleaded to come back to me so i forgave him. Well i got pregnant again in feb 2008 wit our second daughter. In nov. he left me again for her knowing i was pregnant. I was very upset and hurt because he was with her when iwas in labor. After our dughter was here in Dec 2008 we were still living together and got back together but he kept seeing her. He finally broke things off with her but she ended up getting pregnant with his baby. She is having a boy and that is heart breaking to me. she texts him about a 100 messages a day and calls 50 times he ignores her and she still dont stop. I love him and dont see myslf leaving him im financaly dependent on him. is anyone else going through this -
There are several post on this forum with women going through the same thing. I went through it! I mean I really went through it!
My youngest daughters father cheated on me 6 times with two different women, even though it might be more, thats all I know of. When I was 6months pregnant I found out he got his ex pregnant and she was due in a week. He has been engaged to us both. He cheated on me with her before. I have never been financially dependant on anyone but myself so I didn't have that problem. Dont' get me wrong it was hard but it can happen. After the baby we tried yet again to make things work...I took him back, however he started seeing yet another woman and we went back and forth again. Finally I realized that he wasn't going to stop cheating. He would return to me as many times as I allowed him to. The fact of the matter is I accepted what he was doing. No matter how many times you argue about it, no matter how many times he states he isn't going to do it again, because you continue to allow him into your house, your life and your bed he is going to continue his behavior. You may love him but that doesn't mean he loves you, it also doesn't mean its worth it.
My advice would be to start finding a way out, saving money etc. It is only a matter of time until he gives in...he did it twice already so whats to stop him now?

Took the words right out of my mouth, 100%. I just didn't know how to say that without sounding condescending. Just needed a woman's touch. He would return to me as many times as I allowed him to. Honey - you are his safe bet. No matter what he does to you, you will always take him back. He has no reason to change, there are no repercussions for his behavior, so why should he change.
You have every right to be hurt. But for your own sanity and that of your children, you need to find a way out. You and those kids deserve to be happy and it is obvious that this relationship won't give you that.
Good Luck!!Comment

reading through what you wrote, I see no indication of your boyfriend trying to make up for his faults. He shows no remorse and he seems to just return to you (who constantly let him back into your life without repercussions) and continue on as if nothing at all happened. All things considered, especially the fact that he has left you before, at the times that you needed him the most, most likely means that he'll probably do it again.
And more so, how much respect does he truly have for you if he slept with another woman and fathered a child with her? and you say too that now, he is completely ignoring the other woman who is also the mother of a child of his, what about his responsibility toward his son? No, he is not a good man. If I were you I would get out as soon as I can, I know you think that you love him and you might be afraid because you are financially dependent on him, but this is not how you should live your life. think too of your kids, there is no stability for them or their future with a man like that in your life.
look for a support network. start saving up. how about your parents and friends? as soon as you can manage I would leave him. Its what's best for both you and your kids. I implore you. Think about it.One can never get too much lovin'

save money. stay with family. do anything you can, but make sure that you leave him. hes not going to change.
to cheat is bad, to cheat more than once is very bad, to cheat when children are involved is even worse."Life’s a game but its not fair

I don't understand these men... It's like they want to have multiple "wives" and behave like cats: go to all the people who feed them and expect to be treated like kings. I've been in a relationship where the boyfriend wanted to have two girlfriends at the same time and never be able to make up his mind as to who he preferred; both had advantages and disadvantages and as long as neither of them complained everything was alright. And that's where the key is; the longer you tolerate it the worse it will become.
Unfortunately, this has become worse enough that this man has children with two different women and still has relationships with both. Personally, I'd say that all three are to blame: the man for being selfish and the women for letting this man treat them like this.
I say leave him or throw him out, unless you want to spend the rest of your life with a man who has two separate families. It works in certain muslim countries; countries where women are not treated as individuals.
He can't ignore that woman anymore, she's the mother of his son. She will always be and you can't keep him away from his son. There will always be contact between them, whether he stays with you or finds somebody else. You can't keep your girls from meeting their brother either, they will also, eventually, have to meet their brother's mother. The point is, that from now on you have to think of yourself. He has repeatedly cheated on you and you have accepted it and therefore you are partly responsible for this.
Get out of there before you ruin your life and your children's lives any further. Family is number one choice, friends is the second. This man doesn't deserve your love and every second spent with him is a waste of time.Comment
