We didn't explicitly talk finances.

She moved into my house. I still pay for all of the things I did when I lived solo. Still do all the cooking like I did when single. I still do all the housework and cleaning I did when I was single.

She knows my income, I know hers. I don't tell her what to do with her earnings/savings. She doesn't tell me what to do with mine. It works very well for us.

What i'm getting at is don't suddenly make all these drastic changes to your life. Your relationship is still the same....just at a closer proximity.
