I'm just glad that you're now seeing exactly what is going on here. it doesn't seem like he is ready to admit that he was the one doing something wrong and now needs to change his behaviors... including going to the gym where she is! Sheesh...

Well i have taken time off work to try and thrash it out. He doesnt seem to want to talk about it though. Could be because he has no intension of stopping...Who knows hopefully the truth will come out in the end.

If he's not even willing to talk about it, that's a bad sign. (In my opinion anyway)

Mid life crisis, wouldn't that make him 50

You've been together since you were both 15?

I don't know how old you both are now, but someone whom wants to stray who has never ever strayed before, in my opinion is missing "something"...

It may not be sex, it may be "laughter"....

And it seems he doesn't want to let go of what ever it is, she has bought out in him but the truth of the matter is, he needs to see that what ever that is, so to can you bring it out in him.

He needs to talk to you.

lol...no he's 42. Thats what i cant work out. We do things together all the time. She obviously tells him he looks good etc...Once again Desire is a big thing for a man but as i said to him we all like to be disired but we dont all drop our pants because someone takes notice of us.

lol's... geez at 42, you would assume he still feels young

              I know I do...

              Very good!!!!!

I think flirting with nil intentions of doing anything about it is healthy... It always nice to feel sexy, or feel manly.

But I agree with your statement wholeheartedly.

That's a long time to be together... He should be grateful he doesn't have the baggage of broken marriages, and finances lost, as many others do that then have difficulty entering into any relationships thereafter.

Just be sure it's nothing to do with finances as to his reason.. It sounds like you keep things spiced and fun...

Why do you think he is doing this? If you know the reason, you may may be able to tell if it will ever stop.
