When you don't have all of that and it's a constant fight to get it, it's called settling and then someone comes into the picture that adds the missing links and you find yourself drawn to that person as well.
Like having two people in your life, one compensating for the other, so you can have that "whole"...

What it is telling me Neaky is that you "want" Mark to be the be all and end all but he isn't exactly that and that you are finding that you want to "find" that person but are torn because of the time you two have spent together.
