Anyway, while reading your post, I got all the same bells going off in my head that I had when that situation was going. Your boyfriend DOES sound like he loves you and respects you, and he knows it's not that simple to just cut someone off. Especially if he's a "people pleaser", as you say. Trust me, I used to be one of those and it made things like this VERY difficult because I'd always be afraid of people being mad at me. He needs to let go of that and decide what's more important. He obviously knows how much this bothers you, which should help him decide on its own. It does sound like his decision's been made, but he needs to ACT on it. I'm not sure how much of a nudge he needs.
And she is being extremely disrespectful. If she considers him such a great friend, she needs to accept that you're around and there's nothing she can do about that. She should be trying to befriend you, not drive you away. Jealousy is a stinky cologne though, and I have no doubt in my mind that she is. Maybe she's used to getting a lot more of his attention due to when he needed her for drugs. But now he doesn't need her and she's probably picking up on that. Honestly, the best idea is to do what HD said and take the high road. Keep your chin up knowing that he's with YOU and he loves YOU. Nothing she's done has worked so far.
But if she gets worse or keeps it up, I'd tell her where to go and how to get there.
