Man, this totally reminds me of a similar situation I was in with my boyfriend...minus the drugs. It's actually not as dramatic as your situation, but there was a girl who was always trying to get my boyfriend to hang out with her (that he was friends with), would text him all the time, just generally be very shady. I've never met her though.

Anyway, while reading your post, I got all the same bells going off in my head that I had when that situation was going. Your boyfriend DOES sound like he loves you and respects you, and he knows it's not that simple to just cut someone off. Especially if he's a "people pleaser", as you say. Trust me, I used to be one of those and it made things like this VERY difficult because I'd always be afraid of people being mad at me. He needs to let go of that and decide what's more important. He obviously knows how much this bothers you, which should help him decide on its own. It does sound like his decision's been made, but he needs to ACT on it. I'm not sure how much of a nudge he needs.

And she is being extremely disrespectful. If she considers him such a great friend, she needs to accept that you're around and there's nothing she can do about that. She should be trying to befriend you, not drive you away. Jealousy is a stinky cologne though, and I have no doubt in my mind that she is. Maybe she's used to getting a lot more of his attention due to when he needed her for drugs. But now he doesn't need her and she's probably picking up on that. Honestly, the best idea is to do what HD said and take the high road. Keep your chin up knowing that he's with YOU and he loves YOU. Nothing she's done has worked so far.

But if she gets worse or keeps it up, I'd tell her where to go and how to get there.

I just thought I would put up an update on what has happened.
My boyfriend got a phone call from his friend saying her fiancee was in jail for driving with a suspended license. He went over there a couple days later and hung out there all day. Obviously I wasn't happy and he knew it but I tried to be understanding about it which he also knew. Then the next day (Friday) we were supposed to hang out after he was done at work. Well I got a call and he said he was going over to his friends to help her fiancee keep his job, he was also planning on spending the night Friday night and on Saturday go to a rave, then come home Sunday. I went strait over to a friends house and ended up crying and saying I thought I needed to break up with him. Not 2 seconds after I said that he called her up asking if he should stay or what was going on. He ended up coming over and we talked it over. I said I would try to tolerate her and would even help her make her candles for her wedding. So he went over to her house and we were still on good terms.
Sunday morning I got a call from him while he was on his way home, he was yelling about how he was never going to see that b***h again. He never yells! As it turns out while he was at the rave he had been drinking a lot and he and about 15 other people rented a hotel room afterwords. He went to sleep on the floor and woke up with a naked chick cuddling up to him and he asked her what she thought she was doing. As it turns out his friend told the girl that he needed to cuddle and get some action.
She is now out of his life, and everything is great between us. He said he didn't want to go to anymore raves for a while.
