I know it's off topic, but I really think you need to move on and focus on yourself. You need something he isn't able to give you. And it's not fair to him to be with someone who wants him to be someone he is not.

You won't be lonely, your life will be good. You will find the right person someday. Being single is FAR better than being unhappy and constantly trying to fit a square peg into a round hole. Of course, it will be hard at first, but in the end it's best, for both of you.

Ha ha! I know exactly what you are talking about... I made my husband use a bidet after everytime he goes poo, also before sex! Smelly butt if not Google "cleanse 'n carry", which we found to be a very inexpensive but effective portable bidet. Most hotels don't have bidets so a portable one is very benificial.

People vary a lot in their thinking about hygiene. I shower twice a day, brush my teeth several times, mouthwash etc. I know some people would consider that crazy / impulsive. Its just another way that people can be incompatible with each other.

Kind of have to wonder if this is "really the issue" - I totally agree with WC. I tend to shower once a week, in a "good month" - just kidding.... not to cast humor on this....

Perhaps this is just the beginning of "nitpicking" - like you're finding things point out that are easier targets, as opposed to something bigger...........

I had a former BF who was literally BANNED from the local "wash and fold" laundry b/c his underpants were soooo gross..... that's BAD HYGENE... Learn to wipe already!

Well, I haven't read your other posts so I can't speak about the other aspects of your relationship. BUT, I will say that the honest truth is YES, it would bother me. Now, it's a different story if its a result of some sort of allergy like WC said, or if you go into the relationship knowing there are cultural differences... but if this is just something he's started doing out of laziness and you legitimitely smell him.....then no, that's not cool to me. There are certain times of year (at least where I'm from) that when it's hot and humid out, you get dirty and sweaty just walking to your car, even if you don't work out that day.

Had an ex who would do this after we established our relationship. It drove me insane for him to lay down in the bed next to me, on my nice clean smelling sheets, smelling like a combination of underarm BO and dirty rear. Wasn't pleasant.

Get him a bar of soap and tie a little red ribbon around it. Maybe he'll get the drift then.
