This is my 1st post and perhaps anyone here can link me to thread that talks bout the above "questions" ?

Yes, there is a guy I like but I don't want to jump into conclusion just because friends say he likes me but I don't have confident that he does.

Do you talk to him? Are you friends? Try to strike up a conversation with him and see if he's interested in doing something with you.

Some more info might help give somewhat of an idea.

What leads your friend to think he likes you? Is it actions he's taken or something he's said if so what are those things?

There are two types of girlfriends in my books:-

(Scenario 1)

Your friends have told you, he likes you, they've told him, you like him. They're trying to intervene.

(Scenario 2)

Are they "good friends" ones you can count on? Sometimes girls like to play games as well, if they're not trusting friends, if that's the case, I wouldn't tell him personally what your thinking in-case they only said it so you would let him know.

So, that would be my first port of call, to consider what they said.

I think if he likes you, it would show. He'd be saying silly things, trying to get your attention and possibly passing his thoughts on to your "Friends"...

Can you see that he does those things?

Thanks for the reply and I will try my best to describe what has happened that makes my friends thinks that he likes me.

He is actually my manager but he will be resigning by April.

We have been working together for almost 2 yrs plus.

I "took notice" of him last year when we had this company trip to promote our products in another town.

During lunch time, he called up to ask "the boys left you eh cos I cross their vehicle and you are not in the car ?" (referring to the male staff from my department) and I said yes ..... then in few seconds he is already in front of me so I went to him (coz he is still in the car).

**Now that I notice, he was driving and he can see so fast that I was not in the other car with the boys ??

He asked me "are you tired ?", I said "no, just bore". Then he said "Come, let me take you back to the hotel where you can rest and I can check my email" Of course I was happy so I asked should I take my female colleague along and he said "no need"

On the way to the hotel, we just chat. After that I went back to rest in my room for like 30mins then he called me and we have to leave.

And during dinner, since I sit beside him, he will take food for me. My female colleague that is beside me, he didn't take for her anything.

It also seems that he listens to every little things I said. When I mumbled that I want some tissues, he answered in a so very the gentle way "I will get for you"

Now that the female colleague has resigned, we still correpond thru email and she is the one that notice how he treated me. She told me that after that trip, 2 weeks after that they went to another town (which I didn't go) and along the way, he kept on mentioning my name like "if marie is here, she will .................... and oh ........ if marie is here, sure she will start to take pictures (I love photography) and oh ..... if marie is here she will ............."

Then suprisingly, he did call me up when he reach that town just to tell me he has arrived and I thought he wanted to ask me to do some work but it was not.

That was last year round June or July.

Then in January this year, right after he tender his resignations, he called me to his office and told me bout it. He even told me what he plan to do after that. He said he want to take few months off before landing another job.

And I didn't realise that we were chatting for almost 40 mins !!

I really kept his resignation a secret till few week after that, ppl start to know and finally I told my colleague (a lady which is a close friend too) bout it and she said "you see, you are the 1st person he tells, bla bla bla ...... and even ask u to see him in the office for that)

The most recent ones :

Last Sunday my friend asked me to go hiking but I couldn't make it. Then she text back saying "he is coming". Since I deny to my friend that I don't have feelings for that guy, I firmly say I am not going.

Then at nite, round 8pm, she text me by saying "you know, he waited for you coz I saw him from afar and I was waving to him but he didn't see me so I have to go near and the 1st thing he asked "where is marie ?" owwwhhhh

I know we cannot assume that someone likes us just wit this few actions but I dunno ..... what do you guys think ??

it sounds like he does like you and if your both single, why not ask him out for coffee to talk about his future plans (ie career) it cant hurt.

Hello All !!

Following my thread regarding the guy that like me ........

Well, since the day he asked for me when I didn't go for the hiking, I have been smiling ear to ear for a week on how adorable that is and how happy it makes me to know that he asked for me.

Then a boom dropped !!

On Friday, we had staff meeting and out of no where, whenever I asked something, he seems to snap at me

I was so heartbroken coz I was thinking - I thought he liked me ?? Then why is he treating me this way ??

Anyone ??
