Maybe you're not as into him as you think you are? Every relationship is a risk so you have to be willing to jump in with both feet and face the possibility that it may or may not work. You just have to be ok with it. Have fun while it lasts. It may last a year, it may last a lifetime. But it certainly won't last if you won't let it or you don't try.
Do you really want to be with him? -
I've been there, so I know how you feel. But the one thing I've learned is that fear is usually what causes relationships to go bad. Just enjoy what you have now, right now and if it doesn't work out, then you'll cross that bridge when you get to it. But why obsess over it ending when it's just beginning. There are no guarantees in life. It may work for years, it may only last a few months, one of you could get hit by a bus tomorrow. You never know. But I do know that constantly worrying about it going bad, will make it go bad.Comment

I think you are just kinda "numb" from previous experiences and even though things are going well with this guy and you have a physical bond with him... you have your guard up and that's why you don't feel an emotional bond with him. My advice is go with the flow and have fun with him... the longer you are with him and realize that he's not like previous relationships that hurt you.... your guard will drop and you'll feel that emotional bond.Comment
