But, yes 3 months is young and off course a bassinet in the room is fine But, your husband needs to understand this is a family, this is your son, this is a baby and there is no arguement, this is not spending un-necessary money, this is about, caring and looking after your son, our son and having a proper family life...
This is an uncaring cold individual. If he is like this now, he will be just as cold and abusive as the child is growing up. As a man, I've seen his type before. He needs to evolve beyond the limits of his counting house and witness the milk of human kindness. He has lost touch with his humanity and that is providing he was ever in touch with his feelings in the first place. Nothing short of a revelation is going to change him. You seem to be a very beautiful caring person, but, don't play the role of a saint. Take the baby, listen to the advice being given, and choose a healthier happier path for you and your child. There are lots of caring men out there that will love you and treat the baby as if it were their own. Jamie, in all honesty, it doesn't sound very much like you love your husband. The longer you stay the harder it gets. Be careful, talk to others including professionals if you feel you need the strength to leave. Love and light to you.
