Our 2 year anniversary is coming up!

Ryan and my two year anniversary (relationship) is in exactly two weeks. I am trying to think of something special to do for him beyond the "romantic candle lit dinner" I have about a $150-200 budget for something special. I need some ideas thrown my way to get my creative juices flowing! I'd really like to do something out of the box than the traditional romantic dinner thing.

Any ideas? what have you done for your men??

Last year we didn't really do anything since we were both really broke, but business as been alot better this year so we have a little extra to splurge.

What is he really into sexually? Is there something he really likes or wants? I'd work on going there creatively.

Think adventure activity...something he hasn't ever done that the two of you can do together. Call around find prices on things like a bungee jump, assisted parachute jump, swim w/ shark or dolphin, parasail, horseback ride,..then a bottle of inexpensive champaign and someplace private....no sense in getting all that blood pumping and excited and let it go to waste. LOL

Consider things you have wanted to do but haven't. If you talk about going somewhere close to where you live but never have the time or money to visit it, then take the time to do that. You might also consider something you both enjoy doing. Make a new tradition. Every year for our anniversary my husband and I go to a place in the mountains and gamble. We like doing it because we both enjoy it. Then since its in the mountains which we both enjoy we go hiking during the day and gamble at night. Thats something we do every year and have gone other places to do it that over it as far as the east coast.

Theme rooms are fun - but can be very expensive! - if you enjoy that sort of thing, you can make your bedroom a theme room (a bit of costumes and role-play).

Taking a "vacation" to somewhere nearby - explore your local city as if you were tourists (locals never do the things tourists do). Pick some random fun thing that you don't normally do, and do it: bowling, boating, walking in a park, picnic, watch a sporting event, go to a play / show, go to a new type of ethnic restaurant, go to an amusement park, or a drag race, or a nearby tourist trap (worlds biggest ball of string).

Mostly have fun. Don't work too hard to make it special, make it something you both enjoy.

One time my BF and I got all dressed up and had champagne on a mountain top that is a popular hangout where I live which overlooks the city skyline.
I'm not sure where you are located, but maybe there is somewhere like that you can go?
