Lonely and in pain
I have been in a relationship for 3 years with a man and we have a 9 mth old daughter,he started being very abusive when I was 7 mths pregnant,I left him 5 months ago,but just recently found out that he has a 1 month old son with someone else that he started seeing when I was still pregnant.I am so hurt, I can't get over it,I have this pain in my stomach that wont go away since I found out he was cheating on me,We are not together now and I know he is bad for me ,but why am I still in so much pain knowing that he is w/ someone else.I cry all the time, cant sleep I keep thinking of him with this other women and thir new baby.He is dening everything even the baby, but I talked to the girl and I believe her because he is a lier and she told me that he beats her too. -
lala it hurts because you know at that time you two were still a couple, and even if you found out after the fact, it is painful to know that someone you were with was unfaithful. It brings up all kinds of thoughts and fears - fidelity, insecurity, emotional pain. Not to mention this guy was abusing you as well. If that is not a hurtful situation I don't know what is. Sometimes when we are treated so poorly we cling to the familiar. It sounds like your ex is that person for you... but you know better than to go back. And that hurts too.
This guy sounds like he is full of problems, and I think you should thank your lucky stars that you are no longer with him. That is something to be proud of that you saw the situation for what it was and got out. It sounds like the woman he cheated on you with is not as strong.
I really hope you are able to go to counciling and discuss with someone your hurt feelings and figure out why you still care about this man and how you can come up with a new life plan that will benefit you and your young child. You both deserve the best that life has to offer!
Best of luck to you.. I know it hurts now, but eventually you will see just how blessed you are to be out of that abusive relationship, free to make positive choices for yourself and your daughter!Comment
