Hmm, yes, if you still see "the look" it's hard to let go.
But I still think that if people were a little bit more rational than emotional they'd be so much happier. It's wonderful to love someone but if you sit down and clearly see that it's against you to love a person, then you just have to move on.Comment

You are a wonderful man Pretzel... Don't let her change who you are... If you enjoy doing nice things for her, continue to do them. Hopefully she will wake up and see what's in front of her. Most women will experience the hormonal fog, some walk through it and some get stuck. Do whatever feels right to you. Wishing you nothing but the best...Before you talk about what you want ~ Be happy with what you haveComment

I hope one day soon you are going to hear the words and experience the actions that back up that look.Of course there is. Granted sex isn't one of them, her sarcastic sense of humor isn't one of them. But she has a look in her eyes that I can still tell that deep down her love for me is still there.
Can't really tell you what it is or give examples, it's just something I still feel.Comment

Sounds about right.
I don't much care for dating, I have to say. I'd rather let a friendship develop and then follow up if it seemed like the feelings might be growing stronger than that. I think the chances of that lasting and of there not being false advertisement are better... but, then again, I'm single again, so what do I know?

I've been through seven divorces between both of my parents. To say the least, I had a "realist" view on relationships. Before meeting my "Noah", I had been in two relationships that each lasted over two years.
Three weeks. That's how long it took for me to really realize how real and passionate being "in" love is. I never would've believed it, and if I did, it was something I never expected to happen to me. While, we don't have a happily ever after (been broken up for some time now), I'll no longer settle for the thought of being content with someone.Comment
