Stressed - That's why I wrote. I was wondering if anyone had gone through what I had gone through, but no one here has. I'm sure there are others whose lives have been impacted by Facebook. I realize I was complicit in that I did respond to his contact and things got out of hand. I'd love to find a place to chat about it. Guess I'll have to keep looking. I may be in the wrong forum - looks like there are women whose husbands engaged in emotional affairs that started with Facebook in the Husbands/Finance forum, but my thing is the opposite, and quite frankly, I'm a little afraid to post there. There are women who have been so hurt when an ex-girlfriend contacted their husbands, that I don't want to look like one of them. However, I didn't make the initial contact, and I put him off right away.
When he first contacted me I told him I was happily married and did not want any further correspondence with him (after the "Hi, how have you been" catchup email). He did go away, but resurfaced four months later claiming he had written a book about our four years together. He email short stories from the book, what I knew I shouldn't be reading but I couldn't stop myself. So things went on from there and ended with me emailing him a copy of the PI report.
