I understand your point of view! Four years! That's a long time to keep thing's bottled up. You sound like a very nice person! I'm not exactly shure if he knows "the hurt" that he's causing you...I truly hope things can work out for you...

i do the same, and once you cry and try to talk at once....lol i get even more emotional.Being silent sometimes helps rather than crying all the time ( which i still do), but do you try to speak while your crying? sometimes without realizing we build all these emotions and visions and memories up within our minds and mix them all together, reason being to why maybe we tend to cry more, perhaps we should somehow find a way to section our emotions and thoughts. TBH though, i don't think we can do anything about it. i think it well could be a part of us and how we are. just try to explain this to your partner, its really important for him to understand that you do feel emotional about a lot of things and that u express yourself by tears. Its not about being a 'baby', its just how your like, and how you react. its normal.

Yeah, being silent helps because I noticed that I cry even more when I talk especially about my feelings. i just hope that he understands me and that I could change over time because I hate being emotional :C

I know honey, but actually ill tell you some tips thats helped me lol

ok well firstly when you feel like crying just STOP and don't say a word, and ( this is going to sound insane, and mad, and crazy but it works for me sometimes ) talk to your self in your mind , not saying a word out loud at all, but at the same time your not holding anything inside and your not bottling anything up, not exactly, your still expressing yourself but in a very very VERY different way he he.

And i think the older we grow we might be less emotional in crying terms of things, we might gain SOME control over it, because it can get rather ridiculous at times right?

          stay positive!
