    And another one..

So after having to deal withnthe murder of a friend and the suicide of her sister, I found out another friend committed suicide.

And after the last two, I refuse to let it get me down. I cried earlier but honestly, if this world was too much for her, I can only let myself think she is at peaceful rest.

Anyone else had deaths happen in threes like this? Every time someone dies, there's always two more that follow for me.

Its common, the superstition that 'bad things happen in threes' comes from somewhere. But its important to remember that it is just a superstition. I had two friends die within two months of each other, then my grandfather fell ill the following month. I remember waiting for number three, I honestly sat there and thought that's two friends, please be quick with the next. Isn't that awful? But how much does our thought process affect what happens? Powerful tool the mind, I hope that you never do, but if you find yourself in a similar situation again...change your thoughts - this will only happen to me once this time, I know it.

Something that helped me get through this was thinking that they were taken for a reason, to either prepare me for life changing experiences, or that God just needed them....he'd ran out of the really good ones

    Best wishes to you.

Awww so very sorry to hear both yours and Miff's story.

Death is so sad yet inevitable for us all. I do not agree with suicide but we all have freedom of choice and if that is what your friend decided than so be it. I remember in school tragic news broke that a fellow pupil in our year had died.....he was a healthy young boy in his prime one minute and the next his heart just stopped while watching TV. Fact is we never know when the Angel of death will come for us, what me must do is make the most of the time we have.

*Big hugs to the both of you*
I am going to tell you what you don't want to hear!

Sorry to hear that. Hugs. Stay strong.

Her ex has a very bad sense of humor. Watch out for him. He is probably bad news.

Happy to hear that more tragedy has not happened.

Definitely bad news. She has a restraining order against him and I'm pretty sure he's violating his probation
