It's ok to want to look good, but do it for YOU, not for anyone else. As others have pointed out, if he cares so much about your looks that he neglects to pay attention to your mind and heart, to appreciate you and want you for the person you are, then he's not really loving YOU... he's loving your body. Not cool. I would suggest having a talk with him, and if he's unwilling to change this shallow attitude, then you should really rethink spending your life with this person.

I'm sorry, but no way... NO WAY would I even date a guy so shallow and superficial, never mind marry him. He needs to get his priorities straight. Your schoolwork is FAR more important than going to the gym to keep up appearances. To think that you should be able to do both at the same time is just ridiculous... your studies should have your undivided attention, period.
