    Does he or doesn't he?

I've been talking to this guy for nearly 6 years now. We've always flirted and stuff, but we were never single at the same time, or in the country at the same time. Since breaking up with boyfriend lately we've been talking a lot. He will skype me and we'll talk until 5am and not realise (that's happened at least 5 times now), and we'll text and he even phoned me the other day just to chat.
I went to his town with my friend yesterday because we're trying to see more of the UK. He texted me when we were there and said he was feeling really crappy, so I figured I wouldn't see him (I'd met him twice, but years ago now). But he came to the pub with us, had drinks and chatted to us both.
He touched my arm and leg a fair bit, teasingly pinched my cheeks. Then when we went to the other pub he accidentally touched my bum, but then decided to keep at it (he's a cheeky sod!). I didn't care too much so I tried to get him back.
On the way home he kept complimenting my bum, and then when I was home he spoke to me for an hour on the phone.

I'm just confused. Does he like me? If not, why is he so affectionate? If he does, why doesn't he do something about it?

    Opinions please!

Why don't you do something about it? Men aren't the only ones capable of saying "hey, I like you, want to go out?"

Given you've always flirted verbally, this is an extention of that.. There in my opinion is chemistry there on both of your behalfs and verbally flirting for so long, it's inevitable that sex is in the thought pattern

Depends on what you are after? He was intimate, touching someone's butt is intimate, however, he didn't make any further suggestions that night, rather spoke to you "after"...on the phone, meet up with him again, see where it goes, but remember, it may only go as far as the chemistry that has been created between the pair of you... Like rosekitten stated, you can be assertive...

You know, men can be just as shy and nervous about acting on feelings as women can be sometimes. He talks to you a lot, flirts with you, shows little physical signs of attraction and affection... so yeah I'd say he likes you, but maybe he's not sure if it's mutual. I think you need to take the lead on this one and be the first to make a move.
