    Confused!

    Hi there ladies

Me nd my boy frend have been together for about 8 months now, and i recently read my horoscope and it wasn't too good. Im not one to read my horoscope and worry about it, but this one was rather heartbreaking. According to the horoscope, my boyfrend will loose his attraction to me. I know i shouldn't be worrying about something like this, but i love him very much. Are horoscopes usually correct about your future, or are they just unreal predictions?

    Hi m girl.

I read horoscopes during my younger years...read in newspapers and magazines, bought those annual astrology guides based on my zodiac sign. After a few years of reading, it became clear to me that they are basically the same horoscopes predicted over and over again and they are usually worded vaguely, 'one size fits most'. With billions of people in the world, is it really possible that one daily prediction will happen to all who were born in the same month or on the same day? Think about this: If you hadn't read that horoscope, would you have any other reason to believe that your boyfriend will lose his attraction for you? And if he eventually does, are you going to blame it on what a horoscope says? If your relationship is based on what is 'written in the stars' instead of just being together each day and loving each other, then you don't have one. In my opinion, horoscopes give the illusion that all things predicted are inevitable and there is no possibility for you to change a situation unless it's noted as part of the prediction. Is that any way to live? I feel that they are for entertainment purposes only and should be thought of in that way. It is such a waste of time obsessing over what will happen tomorrow...You will never know, so live your life today.

Most of the time these horoscopes are just made up. Forget what you've read in the paper. You're in control of your life, not a very possibly ficticious prediction from someone who doesn't know you at all.
