    What can I do?

My husband keeps on shouting and using bad words every time he?s angry at me. According to an article I read that it can be grounds for a divorce. I don?t want to get a divorce because of our children but I can no longer stand it. I need some help and advice. I?m so confused.

      Verbal Abuse is domestic violence.
Often it is the precursor for physical violence

        Strikeanywhere,

It is best to get some counseling for yourself and get out of that situation. I know it's easier said than done, but for the sake of your & your children, you have to do something.

Domestic abuse, including verbal abuse, is never acceptable in any relationship. Consider talking to a counselor or therapist who helps couples deal with domestic violence issues. And also, many hotlines and organizations offer free counseling services for women who have experienced domestic violence.

I'm sorry to hear that you're going through this difficult situation with your husband. Verbal abuse and disrespect in a relationship can be emotionally harmful and it's important to prioritize your own well-being. It's understandable that you're feeling confused and hurt. Seeking support from a licensed therapist or counselor could provide you with a safe space to explore your feelings and options in a confidential setting. You may also consider having a calm and honest conversation with your husband about how his behavior is affecting you, and express your boundaries and concerns. If you're considering divorce as a last resort, it's important to weigh all your options and seek legal advice from a trusted professional who can guide you through the process and implications for your family. Your well-being and safety are important, and there are resources available to help you navigate this challenging situation. Remember, you are not alone, and it's okay to seek help and support.
