Hen Pecked
Since getting together with my partner a year ago he has changed. He was broken hearted and single for 8 years before I met him but since then hes fallen madly in love with me. He has changed, he expresses his feelings more and has built up a better relationship with his family and friends thanks to my encouragement but now his family keep on calling me a hen pecker and he doesn't see why I get upset about it? Am I looking at this wrong or am I entitled to be upset when his family are calling me domineering, controlling and a bully? -

I think you should just ignore what they're saying. I believe you made a positive effect on your partner and they should be really grateful.Comment

Hen pecker "continually harassed or tormented by
the persistent nagging of a woman"
I haven't heard that saying for years
So they think you are a nag. Are you? I think they are either thinking that you run the roost and he has no say in anything.
You need to establish why they think this, where are they getting that from, from him? Or, just because they see change in him.PUT A LITTLE 'LIKE' IN MY SOUL!Comment
