never thought i would hear from him again. i did only for him to blow me off .. wtf ?

okay so my ex and i were FWB. however that ended 2 weeks ago , i never thought i would hear from him again , i was for the most part fine with it..
but then yesterday i got a text from him saying " can we have sex today " i responed saying that i wasn't sure. he replied saying " i have the day off work today , i was wondering if i could come and see you". i replied saying " im busy and that i didn't want him coming to my house just to ********k me". he then sent an aggressive message telling me to get ****ed, that he doesnt want anything to do with me anymore and that he is done with the ********..
he said that he wants to **** other girls . i said ok. ( it totally blew me away , from not hearing from him , to accepting the fact that i was not going to see him anymore to then him wanting sex then once i said no to him saying he wants nothing to do with me anymore..

i guess it mind ****ed me just a bit. ( it was like he was seeing if he could still reel me in again). i hold no hate or anger toward him , i just dont want to be left second guessing myself anymore..)

just wondering if anyone could tell me why he became so aggressive so quickly..

Because you denied him you hurt his ego but it was good you did it sounds like he just wanted a booty call

He was happy and content as long as you were giving him what he wanted. He had a wonderful set up and you stopped being his dumping post. He was too spoiled being able to see you on his terms without having to provide emotional support, and all the other benefits a boyfriend has to provide. Now in his mind you are making things about you and your wants. So he knows you caught on to his games and he's upset that you want things different.
