i appreciate the tips and ideas, but i already had a job and my dad bribed me to quit by paying me $50 a week to do a few small chores around the house, and that was more than what i was making at my real job. so i quit. its been about a month since i quit and i have only seen $30 from them. so now im trying to find another good job, because they didnt hold their side of the deal. you see, my parents dont want me to ever leave the house. they think because i want to get away sometimes, that thats a bad thing because i dont always want to spend time with my family. i've tried the extra caricular activity by taking guitar lessons, but my mom told me to quit because lessons were too expensive and she didnt think i needed them anymore. everyday on my home from school, i just get immediate depression because of how much i dread going to the same place, everyday, and i do the same things, everyday, and i get nagged on about the same things, everyday, and i am just repeating the same thing, everyday! i need some change once in a while. i need to live! my grades right now are all a's and b's and i can not get any lower then c's or i'll be even more tied down than i already am, which seems almost impossible to do. i really dont know what to do anymore....

I really do understand how you feel. I've been there, and I want to say just make every effort to get yourself out and on your own.

You got a job and you were told to let it go because they were going to pay you $50, and all you got was $30. That's not right.

It sounds like the best thing to do is get yourself a good job and move out.
