My thoughts on all that you have posted is "It will be very convenient for your husband to divorce you on the grounds of adultery and that is why he is "almost" pushing you towards that." You have already shown your husband that he can have his flings time and time again and you'll not take any legal action, so he'll catch you and have his grounds for his freedom, perhaps less alimony (you are the catalyst) and perhaps less child support if he can get away with it. He'll be the injured party.
Don't fall for it. Take care of yourself, separate if you are going to be taking up with anybody else. Make certain you have some legal protection for you and your child on your side. That which we forget may as well never really happened. -
I hope the German legal system will protect you if your (soon to be) ex tries to cause trouble. Best wishes. J will have to learn German to function well in Germany, but he should be able to do that.I have but one lamp by which my feet are guided, and that is the lamp of experience.

Shall we gather strength by irresolution and inaction? Shall we acquire the means of effectual resistance by lying supinely on our backs and hugging the delusive phantom of hope, until our enemies shall have bound us hand and foot?
From a speech by Patrick Henry on March 23, 1775 at St. John's Church, Richmond, VirginiaComment
