    What Happened? Everything Was Fine!

I met this great man about 2 months ago, We decided that we we're going to be together and all of a sudden he tells me that he's moving to new jersey for a better job. Let me explain my story. I thought that I was the luckiest woman in the world I finally found a man that wanted everything that I wanted in a relationship. He made me feel what every women wanted in a man romance, affection, happiness,I thought I found my soul mate. He told me that he was content with me. I don't understand why he did this. I was starting to fall for him hard if I haven't already done so, I mean we had a little argument thursday, but I thought he was mad at me so he did'nt answer his phone the past couple of days,so I began to worry and cry,and finally he picked up and said he was never mad at me and he could hear that i was crying and told me that he was just going to not tell me anything he wasn't going to even call anymore he said that in his own words that he was going to let me die off of him. I began to get hysterical I can't belive this. I miss him so much. He won't even answer my calls he was my prince charming at least i thought he was please help me.

    old story

I read a story written in 1936 where a girl met
a guy ice skating, and he was perfect. They had
a great time. It was the best time in her sixteen
    years of life.

He took her number, and promised to call.
And she waited, and waited, and he never
    called.

Now that story was very old when I read it.

A lot of times you have a 'perfect' date for a little while
and then suddenly it ends. It ends because it never
    existed.

What you had was a fantasy. He played his role.

Any man whose been around the block two times,
knows exactly what to say and do to have the
    'perfect' relationship.

The reason most men don't do it, or don't do it
after they've gotten whatever they want, is
because that is not them. That is a role.
They can play it the same way someone who
loves meat can give it up for lent, or someone
who hates their job can continue in it for a year.

You know it is going to end. So, everything is
    great because it isn't forever.

        I have ex issues

i have a wonderful man who gives me everything he pleases me in every way possible he is always with me he deals with my bipolar condition, he is so good to me and i love him and i know he does too he has told me he loves more than his own life and i do belive him.... but he has a kid with his ex, and she is a major issue she is always trying to manipulate him him into doing what she wants and uses the kid as a factor to bring him down at first she wanted to be ther at all times while he was having his visit with the kid but i had to put my foot down and say that if he wanted to see his kid he would have to do it alone without her in the the picture or else i would leave him and at that time it was just the the start of our relationship. he does it that way know and i still feel uncomfortable with the situation i feel like she has a hold on his life beacuse of that kid. but he wants to be with and does not want to break up and i do love him. so i dont know what to do?

          Stay out of it.
The best thing you do is stay out of the whole ex/child scene.

In one case the man decided to bring the child for a weekend
and the woman said, fine, I'll leave.
          The child never came.

The child never came because once it was clear that he
was on his own with that child, that she was not going
to be part of that scene, he made his choice.

You can not be put into this pushme-pullyou situation.

She is using the child as a hold on him, we all know it.
          He might not.

But if it comes to a point where you two are going out
and she rings up about the kid, then you go out alone.
Don't let her ruin your life.

Stay out of that scene, he has to work it through himself.
Never let it be said that you made him or you stopped him,
you just live your life, and he has to know that his past
          stays in the past.
